Ticketing and Entrance

Q: Where can I purchase tickets to the Westword Music Showcase?
A: Tickets can be purchased online here.

Q: Can I use my ticket to get into the venues?
A: For access to any Westword Music Showcase performances on Friday, September 10, you will need to register for the Friday Night Ticket here.

Q: When will the box office open?
A: Box Office will open at 10am and close at 10pm. You will be able to exchange your ticket for a festival wristband during this time. The box office will not be open on Friday, September 10.

Q: Will prices increase on Saturday, September 10?
A: Yes.

Q: I’m having problems buying tickets. Where do I go?

Q: What is included with each GA ticket purchase?
A: General admission tickets grant ticket holders access to the Westword Music Showcase grounds — featuring food from some of Denver’s best restaurants and trucks, interactive experiences and more — and all stages at the Mission Ballroom Outdoors on Saturday, September 10. GA tickets are all-ages.

Q: What is included with each VIP ticket purchase?
A: The VIP Experience includes all GA amenities, as well as access to a VIP viewing area at the Brighton Street Main Stage and Native Roots Stage, a relaxing VIP lounge,  VIP restrooms, and one munchie ticket for VIP restaurants, plus two drink tickets to use at VIP bars on Saturday. VIP tickets are 21+ only.

Q: Where are the box office and Will Call?
A: The main Box Office is located at the Mission Ballroom. There is a secondary box office at the 40th and Wynkoop entrance.

Access and Logistics

Q: If I leave the main festival area, will I be able to get back in?
A: There is no re-entry after 5pm.

Q: When do gates open on Saturday, September 10, and when does the music start?
A: Gates open at noon on Saturday, September 10, and the first band will begin at 12:15 p.m.

Q: Which stages are all-ages, and which are 21+?
A: The Mission Ballroom Outdoors stages are all-ages. All other venues are 21+.

Q: Can I bring my child/children to the outdoor stage?
A: All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.

Q: Will there be food at the Westword Music Showcase?
A: Yes. Food, water and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Q: Do you offer refunds for the Westword Music Showcase?
A: No.

Q: Is this a rain or shine event?
A: Yes, this event will go on rain or shine.

Q: How do I get my band involved with the Westword Music Showcase?
A: Please send any questions and/or comments regarding bands to [email protected].

Q: How many bands will be playing?
A: More than 65 bands will perform at this year’s Westword Music Showcase, spread across September 9 and September 10.

Q: Where will I be able to park my car?
A: Street parking and/or bike parking will be available all around the festival grounds. Please be safe.
